摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a food product containing a balm which has an unconventional flavor and the smell useful in a pasta sauce with excellent taste and texture and the like by admixing a lipophilic starch or the like to the food product and heating the food product at a prescribed temperature after the balm is added. SOLUTION: (A) A lipophilic starch, for example, a starch modified with groups of formula I and/or formula II (R<1> and R<2> are each a >=5C alkyl, an alkenyl or an aralkyl; X is H, a cation) and (B) one or more kinds of starch selected from the starches which (i) has a viscosity of 1,500 to 40,000cP. at 70 deg.C, when the starch is dissolved or dispersed in water in a concentration of 5-15wt.% at 70-90 deg.C gelatinization temperature and (ii) has a viscosity of 200cP., when the solution or dispersion prepared in (i) is heated at 121 deg.C for 30 minutes, then cooled down to 70 deg.C, are admixed to a food product. Then a balm such as virgin olive oil is added to the food product and heated up to a temperature of >=100 deg.C to prepare the objective balm-containing food product.
