PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up page-turning by integrating operations of separating and turning a page of a book into one operation.SOLUTION: A page-turning device 3 turns a page P of a book B. The page-turning device 3 includes: a suction part 35 for suctioning or separating the page P of the open book B; an arm 34 having the suction part 35 on a tip part, and for oscillating the suction part 35 so as to reciprocate above the page P at a turning-origin position and a turning-destination position so that the suction part 35 is suctioned on the page P at the turning-origin position of the page P and the suction part 35 is separated from the page P at the turning-destination position of the page P; and a drive part (first drive part 33) for oscillating the arm part 34 around a drive shaft 32. The drive shaft 32 is inclined with respect to a seam b2 of the open book B, and/or is inclined with respect to the surface on which the book B is placed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
