摘要 The filter has an alveolar structure (100) with honeycomb dividers (11) separating many triangular cross section alveoli (12). Each alveolus has a large hexagonal opening at one end of the structure and a closed part at the other end as the dividers are turned in. The large openings and the closed parts are mixed on the two ends of the structure so they are adjacent to one another : Some of the alveoli have a means of closing at the closed end. An independent claim is included for the production of the above purifying filter, where a molded alveolar element is made with honeycomb dividers and many alveoli with triangular sections separated by dividers which pierce the end faces by extrusion of an alveolar element in ceramic material containing an organic link. The element is then dried and cut to a preset length. The dividers are deformed at the level of the openings to make large hexagonal openings and to fold the other end inwards to close the adjacent alveoli. The molded alveoli are then calcinated. A pointed template with a pointed distal end is inserted into the alveolus opening so the dividers are heated to the point of remelting, due to which the dividers deform under pressure from the pointed template. The pointed distal end of the template is in the form of a hexagonal pyramid.
