摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable output even at system starting time by securing sufficient output without enlarging a power source system. SOLUTION: A power source system 10 having a fuel cell 20 and a secondary battery 30, has a residual capacity monitor 46 to detect residual capacity of the secondary battery 30. When the power source system 10 is stopped, residual capacity of the secondary battery 30 is detected by this residual capacity monitor 46. When the residual capacity of the secondary battery 30 is not more than a prescribed quantity, charging of the secondary battery 30 by the fuel cell 20 is performed until the residual capacity reaches the prescribed quantity, and the system is stopped after the charging is completed. When the system is started next time, the secondary battery 30 supplies electric power to a load as a principal power source until warming up of the fuel cell 20 finishes.
