PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts, to simplify assembly and to attain the reduction in weight by press-fitting a flange having an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of a thin cylinder main body which possesses a photosensitive layer on an outer peripheral surface on both end parts of the cylinder main body. CONSTITUTION:The title body is constituted by press-fitting the flange 26 on both end parts of the cylinder main body 25 having the photosensitive layer on the outer peripheral surface. The cylinder main body 25 is made of, for example, aluminum and its thickness (t) is made to be <=2mm. The outer diame ter (d) of the flange 26 is about 0.01-0.04mm larger than the inner diameter D of the cylinder main body 25. A flange part 26b is provided along the outer periphery of the flange 26. By press-fitting the flange 26 on the cylinder main body 25 with dimensional difference, the flange 26 can be easily attached to the main body 25 and also coherence between the flange 26 and the cylinder main body 25 can be sufficiently secured. Thus, the number of parts can be reduced and the reduction in weight can be attained. When the photosensitive body is incorporated in a copying machine, etc., to be used, it can be fitted to high speed revolution. |
