The ventilation system is for a vehicle having a large, strongly curved windscreen. In summer this gives rise to an unwanted heating effect due to received solar radiation. A series of ventilation openings with fine mesh grilles to prevent the ingress of foreign bodies is arranged to create an air curtain effect. USE/ADVANTAGE - Method of controlling the temp. of a vehicle interior without the movement of large volumes of air. Solar heating through large windscreen is counteracted.
