COATING MATERIAL FOR PHOTOSENSITIVE FLEXOGRAPHIC PLATE

PURPOSE:To provide a coating material for a photosensitive flexographic plate excellent in flexibility and adhesion and hardly causing unevenness of development at the time of forming a relief. CONSTITUTION:This coating material for a photosensitive flexographic plate consists of upper and lower layers having 0.1-20mum total thickness, the upper layer is a coating film of a cellulose deriv. and the lower layer is a coating film of elastomer having <=350% rate of variation of volume to 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate. The lower layer comes in contact with the photosensitive layer of the photosensitive flexographic plate. This coating material is excellent in flexibility and adhesion to a negative film and can suppress unevenness of development at the time of forming a relief.
