PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lighter case having a high degree of freedom in design and provided with a wind-protection function for avoiding a risk of burn. SOLUTION: In a lighter case for housing a lighter in a tubular case 1 in the state wherein an ignition operation section and a nozzle are exposed upside, a wind protection member 11 having a shape of a vertically split tube capable of holding the case in a barrel-circumferential direction is outwardly fitted on a barrel part of the case outside in vertically freely movable manner so as to cover part of the periphery of a flame from the nozzle with the wind protection member 11 moved upward.
