PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven housing device for a vehicular mirror provided with a function of preventing vibration by fixing the mirror in the state of projecting in the service position, with simple constitution comprising required minimum parts. SOLUTION: This motor-driven housing device for the vehicular mirror is provided with a vertically divided housing 11; a geared motor 12 rotatable in normal and reverse directions and accommodated in the housing 11; a power transmission part (a gear 14) driven by the geared motor 12; an output shaft 15 fitted with a link 16 for outputting reciprocating rotary motion at a required rotation angle by an operating pin 19 attached to the power transmission part (the gear 14); and a stopper mechanism 20 provided with a braking function of stopping and holding a mirror fitting stay connected to the output shaft 15, in the projecting position.
