A composition for a mounting plate of an airbag and a mounting plate of the airbag using the same are provided to improve shock absorbing effect and thermal resistance. A composition for a mounting plate of an airbag contains a polyamide 66 resin, a shock reinforcing agent, and a glass fiber. The composition of the mounting plate of the airbag contains 20~70% polyamide 66 resin, 1~30% shock reinforcing agent, and 10~50% glass fiber. The shock reinforcing agent is composed of at least one of ethylene-propylene rubber, an ethylene-octane rubber, and an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber. The mounting plate of the airbag is formed by Injection Molding.
