Provided is a surveillance system which can solve fundamental problems of image surveillance. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the surveillance system comprises: an acoustic analyzing server, and a plurality of wireless acoustic sensors. The wireless acoustic sensors extract feature data of an acoustic sound, and transmit the extracted feature data to the acoustic analyzing server through a wireless communications network. The acoustic analyzing server collects and analyzes the feature data from the wireless acoustic sensors, and determines an event occurring status depending on the analyzed result. |
