The present invention relates to a composition for prevention or treatment of an inflammatory bowel disease containing one selected from the group consisting of SMP30, an agonist thereof, and an expression promoter thereof, as an active ingredient. The composition for treatment suppresses expression of a granulocyte colony stimulating factor and inflammatory cytokine, to suppress intestinal inflammatory. In addition, the composition therefor can be usefully used as a biomarker composition for diagnosing an inflammatory bowel disease. According to the present invention, by using a method for screening an inflammatory bowel disease medicine comprising a step for selecting a candidate drug for promoting SMP30 expression or activating SMP30, a drug promoting or activating SMP30 expression can be specifically selected to effectively develop a medicine. |
