Uniform treatment is effected by balancing the conc. of the treatment fluid in trhat increasing quantities of treatment fluid are withdrawn from the part of the flow outside the edges of the track which is temporarily not involved in the reciprocal action between the fluid and the material and are uniformly distributed throughout the treatment region.
