<p>The bulk material extraction and discharge machine has a gantry along which a digger mechanism can travel, this mechanism acting in a plane at right angles to the gantry, which incorporates a conveyor for the material discharged by the mechanism and running along it. The digger mechanism comprises one or more endless chains (10) to which buckets are fixed (12). These work in a guide assembly, comprising tracks connected and inclined to each other. The upwards track follows the slope of the stockpiled material face, and is connected to a following horizontal one. The tracks guide the buckets along straight paths for these two stretches at least.</p> |
