PURPOSE:To enhance transparency and dispersibility by maintaining the primary particle diameter of a pigment in a specified value or lower and selecting a resin material for the developer. CONSTITUTION:A carrier solution contains the pigment having a primary particle diameter of <=1mum, and as the resin a styrene-butadiene-2-ethylhexyl methacrylate and/or a methyl acrylate-methacrylic acid-lauryl methacrylate- glycidyl methacrylate copolymer, thus permitting the obtained liquid color developer for the electrostatic photography to be improved in transparency and dispersion stability, and to form a color image good in color reproducibility at the time of overlaying color images because of the transparency. |
