<p>PURPOSE:To record a constant track pitch signal by housing tape supplying and take-up reels in a cylinder incorporated in a cassette under a vertically piled state and feeding a tape by a capstan to rotate at a constant speed. CONSTITUTION:Tape supplying or take-up reels 3 and 4 are housed in a cylinder 2 incorporated in a cassette 5 under the vertically piled state, a capstan 40 is rotated at a low constant speed by decelerating the rotations of an ultrasonic motor using a piezoelectric material and the cylinder, and the tape is moved at the constant speed on the cylinder 2. Further, the remaining quantity of the tape, the revolving speeds of the reels 3 and 4, etc., are detected, control such as controlling the revolving speeds of the rotary motors of the reels 3 and 4 and braking the rotations of the reels 3 and 4 by a clutch is executed based on the detected results, and the tape is moved at the constant speed. Thus, the signals can be helically recorded on the optical tape with a constant track pitch.</p> |
