A thin lithium secondary cell containing an electrolyte having a prescribed structure in at least one of the positive electrode (2), negative electrode (3) and separator (1) thereof, characterized in that the electrolyte having a prescribed structure is constituted essentially of an electrolytic solution and an organic polymer and that the organic polymer is one which is prepared by polymerizing an organic monomer having a polymerizable functional group at the end and which comprises first and second chemical structures, the first structure being either ethylene oxide structure or propylene oxide structure or both, and the second structure being at least one member selected from among alkyl structures, fluoroalkyl structures, benzene skeleton, ether groups and ester groups.
