PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote managing system which can transfer data using electronic mail by using a network and can avoid the difficulties caused by the capacity restriction of the electronic mail, even is data transfer quantity increases, and to provide an image forming system, an image forming device, a managing device, a remote managing method and an information recording medium. SOLUTION: The system is provided with the imaging device to be managed, the managing device for managing a device to be managed via the network and mail servers, which are connected to the network and transmit and receive the electronic mail transmitted from/to the imaging device to/from the managing device. The managing device and/or the imaging device have electronic mail division means for dividing and transmitting the electronic mails, on the basis of a request of one of the devices. The imaging device and/or the managing device include an electronic mail combining means for combining the divided electronic mails, on the basis of the reception of the electronic mail.
