PURPOSE: An alkali zinc secondary battery is provided, to inhibit the over elution of the active material of a zinc electrode into an electrolyte solution, thereby preventing the precipitate of zinc hydroxide from being precipitated onto the surface of an zinc electrode and improving the lifetime of the battery. CONSTITUTION: The alkali zinc secondary battery uses zinc as a negative electrode, and employs the electrolyte solution which is an alkali solution comprising 0.065-0.33 M of silicate ions and 1.0-1.8 M of fluoride ions. |
