PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidering cloth hole opening tool causing no weakness of strength of embroidered cloth, and capable of opening a beautiful large hole in a part surrounded by an embrodering stitch of the cloth. SOLUTION: This embroidering cloth hole opening tool 10 is provided with an inserting part 15 having a thick base part 13, and formed in a thinning shape toward the tip. A constricted part 14 is formed on this side of the base part 13 of the inserting part 15. The inserting part 15 and the constricted part 14 are formed in a cross-sectional circular or elliptic shape. The constricted part 14 is continued with the inserting part 15 by a smooth curved surface.
