PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute printing operation of high quality without increasing the memory capacity of a memory necessary for storing printing data. SOLUTION: Serial printing data containing a plurality of dot printing signals is inputted to a converter 95 from a data line 83 to be converted to parallel data. Both signals of the output line 95a and fire clock line 96 of the converter are inputted to an AND circuit 97 and the respective ink chambers of an ink jet head are driven through drivers 98. After one serial signal is transmitted, two fine clock signals are continuously supplied before a next serial signal is transmitted. By this constitution, the dot printing signal set to the converter 95 is continuously outputted twice and two ink droplets are continuously jetted to different arrival positions accompanied by the main scanning of the ink jet head. |
