PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the change of discharging direction of hot air freely in accordance with the using condition of a user side by a method wherein an opening member for changing the discharging direction of air stream is provided at the opening of a fan, in a picture forming device for discharging heat generated in the main body of the picture forming device by the fan together with the air stream. SOLUTION: A heat discharging fan 39, for discharging heat generated in a fixing means, a power supply and a control unit forcibly to the outside of the device together with air stream, is arranged in the back surface of a device near the fixing means, power supply and control unit. The heat discharging fan 39 is rotated when a sheet detecting sensor, arranged at the entrance of the fixing means, has detected a recording sheet. In the opening part of such a heat discharging fan 39, an opening member 55, changing the discharging direction of air stream discharged out of the heat discharging fan 39, is provided on an outer casing unit 54. The opening member 55 is fitted loosely to a hole 54a, for forming shaft units 55a, 55b on the outer casing unit 54, whereby the opening member 55 is constituted so as to permit the selection of air discharging direction, since the opening member 55 can be pivoted freely in a direction (c) about the shaft unit 55a, 55b with respect to the outer casing unit 54. |
