The invention relates to method of chromatographic determination of general content of primary amines that includes extraction of primary amines from solutions or solid samples by rectification with water vapor of thermo-concentration and quantitative analysis that is in fact that primary amines extracted by means of chemical reaction with diazotized 4-nitroanylin in mixes of aprotonic organic solvents with water are transformed to azoderivatives, at that chemical reaction is carried out at pH 5.5-8.5 and at usual conditions and azoderivatives of initial amines irrespectively of nature of organic radical are transformed to 1.3-bis-(4nitrophenyl)-triazene, after that one performs its chromatographic determination by results of which one determines general content of primary amines.
