A cutout part is formed on a substrate of a magnetic detection device, and the cutout part is opened on an outer edge of the substrate. A magnetic detection component of a magnetic sensor detects a magnetic field formed by first and second collector parts. A mold part capsulizes the magnetic detection component. The magnetic sensor is embedded in a surface to overlap a part of the mold part with the cutout part. The first collector part faces the front surface of the magnetic sensor. A part of the second collector part is positioned in the cutout part to face the rear surface of the magnetic sensor. Therefore, the present invention is capable of reducing a magnetic circuit gap between the first and second collector parts, as compared to when the cutout part is not provided. |
