The present disclosure is related to a method to modify conjugated polymers obtained by crossed aldol condensation, from aromatic dialdehydes, and mixtures of aliphatic ketones and a-hydroxyketones. The resulting materials have photoluminescence and electroluminescence properties, as well as high solubility, thereby facilitating processing the same and being potentially suitable for use in the microelectronics and nanotechnology areas, as well as in optoelectronics, sensors and actuators, inter alia. |
