Disclosed are an optical sheet for a backlight unit and a method for manufacturing the same according to the present invention. According to the present invention, the optical sheet includes: a substrate; optical patterns formed to be arranged on the upper side of the substrate at a predetermined interval; and auxiliary patterns formed between the optical patterns and having an upper surface formed with a concavely rounded shape to fill a part of an area where a valley between the optical patterns is formed.
