PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, of which connecting work is simple, in which the reliability of connecting face is high, in which the area required for connection is reduced, and in which the density of parts can be increased, by composing the connector of a gal wing type lead, pins and a substrate for connection, using a solder for connecting these components, and molding them from a resin. SOLUTION: The substrate 9 for the connector opening through holes 8 for passing 16 pins in total is prepared. Next, the gal wing type lead 10 is connected to the through holes 8 on the substrate 9 for the connector by a solder 11. Afterwards, the pins 12 are inserted into the through holes 8 and connected by the solder 11. Finally, the pin 12, the substrate 9 for the connector and the gal wing type lead 10 are molded from resin 13 and while keeping strength at the pins 12, production is finished. The connector 7 for optical transmitter/receiver is mounted on the surface of the substrate for mount, other surface mounted chip components can be loaded on its rear side and the density of the substrate for mount is improved. |
