<p>Novel 2',3'-dihydroestra-1,3,5(10)-trieno16.alpha., 17.alpha.-b!furan-17.beta.-ols, useful in the treatment of menopausal syndrome and other conditions of estrogen deficiency, are described herein. These compounds are prepared by cyclizing a corresponding 17.alpha.-ethynyl-estroil in the presence of a base.</p> |
