PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate any necessity of a storage place for a memory medium by incorporating a memory device possible to read out and rewrite in a holding part of an ignition key and transmitting data with an electronic device aboard a vehicle via the memory device. SOLUTION: An EEPROM 4 as a memory device is incorporated in a holding part 3. Connecting terminals 5 constituted of data signal terminals, power supply terminals, and control signal terminals are arranged on both sides of a key plate 2 so as to be electrically connected to the EEPROM 4. That is to say, the each connecting terminal 5 constitutes a data signal external input and external output terminal, a power supply external terminal, and a control signal external terminal. The EEPROM 4 thus receives feeding of a drive power supply from an external device and inputs the control signal and the data signal via the connecting terminal 5. It outputs the data recorded in the EEPROM 4 to the external device. This constitution can exchange information between the electronic device aboard a vehicle and the electronic device outside the vehicle so as to eliminate any necessity of a storage place for a medium. |
