An attachment is arranged on a storing and heating container (10, 12) for peloid plates. It comprises a frame (1) surrounding a grid-shaped heating surface (2) with passage openings (5). Cold or lukewarm peloid plates (9) are placed on top of this heating surface (2), partially molten and comminuted. These parts then fall into the container (12) underneath. <IMAGE>
