摘要 The invention relates to a test mandrel for probes for monitoring workpieces in a measuring (inspection) machine, in particular one which permits automated advancing of the workpiece to the test mandrel, or vice versa. Conventional test mandrels do not allow compensation of alignment offsets between the workpiece and the test mandrel, with the result that in many cases damage can occur to the measurement machine or to the workpiece given imprecise advancing and/or given large manufacturing tolerances of the workpieces. In order to prevent these disadvantages, the invention proposes a test mandrel (10) whose head piece (18), which contains the probe (20), is pivoted on a tubular member (12) of the test mandrel (10) by means of a plurality of resilient elements (21) in such a way that a compensating movement transverse to a longitudinal axis (14) is permitted in the manner of a gap gauge jaw. In addition, the test mandrel (10) permits a deflection in the axial direction in a guide member (32) against the adjustable force of a helical (spiral) spring (40), in which case the onset of the axial compensating movement of the test mandrel (10) can be tapped by a signal generator (50). <IMAGE>
