Proposed is a method of producing compositions containing anionic and non-ionic surfactants. An anionic surface-active acid is neutralized in a preferably continuous process by a solution or dispersion of an anhydrous neutralization agent in a non-ionic surfactant. The surfactant mixtures thus obtained have a low water content, as well as high contents of anionic and non-ionic surfactants.
