PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an isolated polynucleotide capable of producing a human HUVCT36 polypeptide useful for treating infection caused by HIV, pain, cancers, asthma, Parkinson's disease, etc., by including a specific polynucleotide therein. SOLUTION: This isolated polynucleotide comprises a polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of (A) a polynucleotide encoding the same amino acid as an amino acid sequence of formula I by virtue of the redundancy of a genetic code, (B) a polynucleotide complementary to the component A and (C) a polynucleotide comprising at least 15 contiguous bases of the polynucleotide of the component A or B and has a nucleotide comprising a base sequence of formula II. A host cell comprising a vector containing the DNA is preferably cultured to produce the polypeptide. |
