PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a roller from being damaged and seizured with a cam surface in the engagement of one roller with a cam groove in a conventional mechanism, and to achieve the stable reciprocation of a working shaft by the rotation of the roller. SOLUTION: This grooved cam operating mechanism comprises first and second cam surfaces 3a, 3b formed on a cam groove 3 and arranged on the different positions along the axial direction, first and second rollers contacted with the cam surfaces 3a, 3b, and a spring 23 for mono-directionally energizing a working shaft 4, and the rollers are respectively rotated in the opposite directions when they respectively come into contact with the cam surfaces 3a, 3b.
