PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive an image display device to be matched for each request of when it is being used or not being used, and further to display plural piece of image data in a superimposed state without previously compositing them. SOLUTION: A binary data signal line drive circuit BINSD, being one of plural data signal line drive circuits, has a shift register SR2 operating at a prescribed timing, a data-holding section Latch for sampling the binary data signal DIGDAT separately inputted according to the output of the shift register SR2 and holding the signal, a data-switching section SEL for switching a lighting potential and a non-lighting potential according to the held data, and an output control section CNTTRF which is provided between the output of the data switching section SEL and the data signal line and controlling output by a transfer instruction signal TRF which is inputted from the outside. |
