Process and device for producing a high pressure product by cryogenic separation of air

The method involves compressing, purifying and cooling process air (11), and supplying the air to a distillating column-system (12) for nitrogen-oxygen separation. A fluid product stream is brought to an increased pressure in a fluid condition and is pseudo-evaporated under the increased pressure. The evaporated product stream is guided to a discharging system (19) as a pressure product. The pressure in varied and the variation of the pressure is performed based on the pressure of the discharging system. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing a pressure product.
