<p>New 2-benzimidazolones -oxazolinones - and thiazolinones (substd. in 4,5,6, or 7 positions by R1 and in the 1 position by A1 CO.Z-A2-OR2 where R1 is H, halogen or CF3, R2 is a higher aliphatic acyl, lower phenalkanoyl, a benzoyl. Where the phenyl ring may be substd. by up to 3 halogen atoms, alkyl or alkoxy groups, A1 and A2 are alkylene or alkylidene and Z is piperazine or 1,4-diazacycloheptane, A2 and CO being attached to the N atoms) are prepd. by standard methods involving forming the side chain e.g. linking the side chain to the fused heterocyclic ring system.</p> |
