<p>PURPOSE: To print a color multiwindow screen in colors without its background color by using print data obtained by performing raster operation based upon an arithmetic expression for a specified rectangular area in each display area of a frame memory. CONSTITUTION: A control part 1 divides each window into display rectangular areas 20-22 according to management information from a memory 10, indicates the display rectangular areas 20-22 and the arithmetic expression to a drawing circuit 4, and stores the print data obtained by performing the raster operation based upon the arithmetic expression for the specified rectangular area of respective display areas of the frame memory 2, in printer expansion areas 23-26 of the frame memory 2, thereby printing the contents of the printer expansion areas 23-26 by a color print part 5. Consequently, color prints having no background color are easily obtained for every window of the multiwindow screen.</p> |
