PURPOSE:To prepare economically heatinsulating material excellent in heat insulation, strength, etc. in a preparing process of heat insulating material obtained by expanding and forming expandable material supplied between an upper and a lower metallic hoop material by injecting expandable material by two stages. CONSTITUTION:A lower metallic hoop material 2 guided from a reel 10 where projecting stripes 3 are formed by a projecting stripes forming machine 11 in a lengthwise direction and an upper metallic hoop material 1 guided from a reel 9 are carried respectively by conveyors 5, 4. In the middle of this carrying operation, first, the 1st expandable material 8a is injected by the 1st stage injecting device 22 of an expandable material injecting device 13 into the cavities 50 of the hoop material 2, then the 2nd expandable material 8b is injected by the 2nd stage injecting device 23 onto semi-hardened expandable material 8a and both materials 8a and 8b are hardened integrally to prepare heat insulating material. |
