PURPOSE:To realize a quantitative analysis of Mo with extremely high accuracy without being affected by a coexisting element, by applying a fixed dissolution method to a sample to be analysed. CONSTITUTION:At the time of performing a quantitative analysis, a sample to be analysed such as a voltage nonlinear resistor which consists essentially of e.g. ZnO and contains Mo, is finely, pulverized, Hereafter, this pulverized sample is dissolved by using HCl and next, PbSO4 is produced by adding H2SO4 and is separated. Moreover, a very small amount of Pb is masked by tartaric acid. Next, the quantitative analysis of the quantity of Mo in the sample treated in said way is performed by using a plasma emission spectrochemical method. By analyzing in said manner, the quantity of Mo in the sample is determined quantitatively with good accuracy because the influence of viscosity is eliminated by adding HCl, H2SO4 and tartaric acid to the sample and Mo is dissolved by restraining the deposition of Pb. |
