METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FORMING ORIGINAL STICKING SHEET FOR SCANNER

PURPOSE:To easily and accurately specify the trimming range of a document on a scanner by forming the sheet where graphic showing the trimming range are formed. CONSTITUTION:Index base paper 8 is set in a prescribed position on a data tablet 7 at a prescribed angle, position data in a prescribed position on the index base paper 8 is inputted to a controller 5 with a cursor 9, and then several kinds of data input elements of a menu area 10 are used to input variable magnification with the cursor 9. A mask cutter 11 cuts a mask film 12A which is set according to the signal from a controller 5 to form a mask plate 12B where the trimming range of the same size with the input range of the document is cut. Then the document 2 stuck on the mask plate 12B is scanned by the scanner 1 to input image data inside a figure formed on the mask plate 12B, i.e. only when the scanner makes a scan within the trimming range. Consequent ly, the trimming range of the document is accurately and easily specified.
