PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately correct image deviation by surely and accurately detecting the positional deviation of each image in an image forming device where the images formed by plural image forming units are multiply transferred. SOLUTION: In a laser printer where the toner images formed by plural image forming units are multiply transferred to a transfer body 10; registration patterns KSO, YSO, MSO and CSO are transferred to the transfer body 10 by every color multiply transferred. Each registration pattern is extended obliquely to the moving direction (b) of the transfer body 10 and constituted of two lines having one intersection. The center positions of the respective registration patterns are detected by detectors 111, 112 and 113 with the movement in the direction (b) of the transfer body 10, so that the deviation is arithmetically calculated. |
