The invention relates to a device for sorting mixtures of plastic chips of different density using a parting liquid. The device includes a mixing funnel (4) for mixing plastic chips with a parting liquid to get from the parting tank a mix, such that chips go apart following the sink-float process, a flushing pipe (62) in its central part, with an upper flushing position (722) for the light fraction (1) and a lower flushing position for the heavy fraction (2), and a closed cycle circuit for the parting liquid (3). In order to ensure top quality sorting in continuous and smooth working conditions, the propose device comprises, just under the mixing funnel (4), a flushing-feeding ejector for introducing the mix. The central part (71) of the parting tank (7), into which the flushing pipe runs horizontally, extends in proximity of the pipe upwardly and downwardly to the conical areas. The invention includes, in a sequence arrangement, a tapping device for the light fraction, just behind the flushing position (722), an ejector- conveying pipe (8) for the heavy fraction (1), just past the flushing position and an upward and downward oriented discharge pipe (82) and another tapping device (92). Both tapping devices 91, 92) are provided with collectors (912, 922) for recycling the parting liquid (3).
