A tool holder device including a first and a second member (10, 30) having respectively a projection (16, 116) and a bore (34, 132) which are engageable with each other. The second member has an annular groove (42, 134) which partially defines the bore and is coaxial with the bore. The projection has a through-hole (62, 118) in which are received two engaging members (64, 66; 122, 124; 150, 152) having respective inclined surfaces (74, 80; 130, 140; 162, 164) which are abuttable against an inclined surface (46, 136) of the annular groove when the two engaging members are moved away from each other upon rotation of a threaded member (84, 126, 156) which engages at least one of the two engaging members. The inclined surfaces of the engaging members and annular groove permit a tight fit between the projection and bore, for removable connection of the first and second members. <IMAGE> |
