PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the consistency of the balance without stopping a business service in a system continuously operated by switching a plurality of on-line systems. SOLUTION: When switching the on-line systems, the balance information (difference information) is generated from the account file of a switching origin on-line system A and reflected on the account file of a switching objective on-line system B. When a transaction occurs during this time, it is accepted by the switching objective on-line system B. If the reflection of the balance information is not finished, a balance inquiry telegraphic message is sent to the switching origin on-line system A to acquire the latest balance information. The switching objective on-line system B reflects this latest balance on the account file, executes a necessary business process, then returns the result to a terminal. |
