A backlight assembly and a dual display having the same are provided to make a luminance ratio between main and sub display panels to be 5:5 by using diffusion sheets. A point light source(111) emits light. A light guide panel(120) is disposed in a side part of the point light source, and guides light. A first diffusion sheet(130) is disposed in an upper side of the light guide panel, and diffuses the first light emitted to an upper part of the light guide panel. A second diffusion sheet(150) is disposed in a lower side of the light guide panel, and diffuses the second light emitted to a lower part of the light guide panel so as to have the same luminance as the first light. |
