A disc device is provided with a guide shaft (231B) for movably holding a pickup device; a guide piece (214) for guiding the guide shaft (231B) in a focus direction; an adjusting screw (330) screwed in the same direction as the focus direction of the guide shaft (231B); a slider (320), which is arranged to be moved in a direction orthogonally intersecting with a flat surface of the guide piece (214), and has an adjusting surface (323B) that moves when a shaft abutting surface (323A) abutting to the circumference surface of the guide shaft (231B) and a head portion (332) of the adjusting screw (330) abut to the adjusting surface; and a plate spring (312) for urging the guide shaft (231B) to the side close to the shaft abutting surface (323A). The shaft abutting surface (323A) has an exterior angle (a) formed with the moving direction of the guide shaft (231B) larger than an exterior angle (ß) formed by the adjusting surface (323B) and the moving direction of the adjusting screw (330).
