PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical subscriber system, in which a length of a subscriber slot adopting a frame configuration is decreased by through division use of the slot, depending on an installation distance between a center side equipment and an optical subscriber equipment, thereby further improving an accommodation efficiency of service channels used for the operation of the system. SOLUTION: In the optical transmissions system of a passive double star(PDS) configuration, where a center side equipment 1 and a pluraly (N) of optical subscriber equipment 4 (41 -4n ) are connected 1:N by two star couplers 2, 3 for incoming/outgoing directions, when an optical subscriber 4 subscribes to the system newly, a length of a time slot of a subscriber slot for the reply by the optical subscriber equipment 4 is used which corresponds to a delay time required for delay fine-adjustment, and an installation distance with respect to the center side equipment 1 for rough adjustment is covered into a delay time, based on a value calculated from a received optical power by an offset control section 4-5 is transmitted to the center as the reply data. |
