PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the inspection work, by holding a range near a certain numerical value for judging such as an acceptance numerical value and releasing automatically this holding to display an inspection numerical value when the inspection numerical value overflows. CONSTITUTION:When a hold signal S1 is inputted from a range hold switch to an auto-range switching circuit AR and a hold signal S4 is inputted from the output part of a judging circuit to the auto-range switching circuit AR, the auto- range switching circuit AR is switched to a range corresponding to the hold signal S1, and the inspection numerical value is displayed in this range on a display circuit DP. When it is discriminated in a magnitude judging circuit JG1 that an actually measured inspection numerical value is larger than a maximum inspection numerical value, the auto-range switching circuit AR is released from the range holding state and is automatically switched to a range where the actually measured inspection numerical value can be displayed. |
