PURPOSE:To surely convey out chips having resulted from cutting, by providing triangular top and side push members on a reciprocating bar at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction thereof, and supporting the reciprocating bar movably back and forth on the inside bottom surface of a gutter-like conveyance passage so that the bar cooperates with holding members on the inside surface of the conveyance passage. CONSTITUTION:When a reciprocating bar 9 is moved forth by a power cylinder as chips C having resulted from cutting are supplied from the surface of the bed of a machine tool into a conveyance passage 1, the chips are pushed forth by the engaging portions 15, 18 of slightly-long triangular side push members 17 on both the sides of the reciprocating bar and triangular push members provided on the top of the bar at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction thereof. At that time, the chips C are led in guide paths 25 defined by triangular holding members 2 provided on the internal surfaces of the sides of the conveyance passage 1. When the reciprocating bar 9 is then moved back, the chips C are engaged by holding portions 24 so that the chips are kept from moving back. When the reciprocating bar 9 is thereafter moved forth again, the chips C are pushed forth further. The chips C are thus conveyed. |
